How do I place my smartphone camera for AI Ball Tracking?
For accurate 3D trajectory tracking and LBW impact checks, place your phone on a tripod at a height of 5 to 6 feet, positioned directly behind the wickets at either the bowler's end or the catcher's end. The camera lens must be aligned with the center stump, and the entire pitch boundary (crease lines at both ends) should be visible in the framing.
Can I score matches offline without network signal?
Yes! CricsApp mobile scoring module works completely offline using local database synchronization. Ball events, dismissals, and averages are saved on your phone. As soon as a network connection (Wi-Fi or cellular) is detected, the database automatically updates the cloud scoresheet without disrupting active scoring.
How do I connect my scoring sheet to a YouTube stream?
CricsApp provides a synchronized overlay link in your Tournament Admin Console. Copy this overlay URL, open OBS Studio (or other broadcasting applications), add a new "Browser Source" layer, and paste the URL. The score overlays will automatically update on your live feed in real-time as the scorer records balls on-field.
What are analysis credits and how do they work?
Analysis credits are utilized to process video segments on our GPU cloud servers for AI DRS checks (ball path projection, height metrics, Edge audio spike analysis). The DRS Review plan includes 25 analysis credits per month. If you run out of credits during a series, additional packs can be purchased in the Billing section starting at $2 for 10 credits.
