A.Ilayaraja is a veteran technologist with over 15 years of industry experience specializing in enterprise software development, system scaling, and advanced artificial intelligence architectures. Holding postgraduate credentials in computer applications, he has spent his career designing real-time data engines and cloud solutions. As the Technical and AI Architect of CricsApp, he oversees the engineering of our computer vision ball-tracking models and UltraEdge sound detection engines, bringing professional-stadium analytics to local parks and junior cricket leagues worldwide.
Using deep learning object detection models, our software tracks the cricket ball in successive video frames, correcting for camera shake and plotting the ball path directly onto a virtual 3D coordinate system.
Our acoustic model isolates low-frequency background noise (wind, crowds) to isolate the high-frequency impact signature of leather striking willow, syncing with video timelines to identify edges.
By monitoring live score entries, our cloud service automatically cuts match video streams ±15 seconds around boundary markers and wickets, compiling customized highlight reels instantly.
