Reading Your Landing Plots
Whenever you bowler in a match scored on CricsApp, the app charts the exact pitching coordinate of every single delivery. By looking at the Bowling Analytics tab, you get a visual scatter plot divided into three lengths:
- Good Length (Green): Pitching between 6 and 8 meters from the batting wickets. This is the "corridor of uncertainty" where batsmen struggle to choose between playing forward or back.
- Short Length (Red): Pitching further back, enabling bouncers or pull shots.
